Getting philosophical..

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

-Robert Frost

You know, a lot of people used to think that the U.S. would fall in an epic nuclear conflict with Russia.. I read this for the first time in 7th or 8th grade, don't remember any more; anyways, fire obviously relates to violence, but ice can mean a lot of things.. i think in the case of the U.S. it will simply be apathy for our country and each other that gets us.. any thoughts?

-this just kinda popped into my head while reading a thread about people being too lazy to walk 20 feet to put carts away.. but the more I get into it, the more reasons I see Americans using to avoid exercise and interactions with other people...

I used to be a bagger(long ago) at a local grocery store and that crap would (and still does) piss me off to no end. Even worse when they park RIGHT NEXT to one of the corrals and are too lazy to put it in the **** corral..they leave it on the other side of their vehicle instead. Also used to piss me off when the baggers would get blamed for damages to vehicles done by carts left out. Even though there used to be GIANT signs above the corrals that said they have no liability if vehicles are damaged due to that. No excuse...just pure laziness.

Fact if the World or a Nuclear Bomb were to go off right now I would still be sitting here at my Desk drinking my monster reading this board lol

The plant I work in was built back in the 40's and its also known as a nuclear Fall out shelter. The walls are made of Steel and Tons of Cement.
We dont have windows if I only knew what it is like outside it could be sunny , snowing , Hailing or on Fire.
This computer and our Airforce weather system is all I have ( kind of depressing at times )

Why are we talking about the world coming to an end ? Geeze this is depressing almost like thinking of owning a New Mustang.
