I can't believe the day has come. (Bye Christine!)

I just removed my WMU COA window sticker signaling the end of moving out of Christine. I've received the word that tonight I am going to pick up my new (to me) baby.

A 2000 Maple Red Metallic RPO BBS Trans Am.

Mileage: 29,750.

I'm so friggin' stoked. It's one thing to own a 5th Gen I'm sure. However, this is my first F-Body; and well.. I can always wait for the 6th gens.

Support MC.com peoples.. $9 bucks. Timmy needs to get that wheelchair into the 10s!

2000 Maple Red Metallic Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
Stock: 303 RWHP / 318.5 RWTQ
1320: 14.29 @ 120.33mph

and i hope i don't jinx you buy saying that!

how is the overall condition of the paint, interior, engine compartment, etc?

Well..look at it this way..it's a Firebird/Trans Am..which is far cooler.

Interior is pretty good for a 10 year old car. Spent quite a while outside under a cover from the looks of things (stripping, seals, still good but it's got that splotchyness to it.) Engine compartment has some leaves in it (yeah.. I think he drove through a leaf pile?)

Pretty much a barn rat from the looks of it. Paint is chipped a bit on the spoiler, bad touchup from the looks. Gonna get it sanded and resprayed later on. Not bad now but I don't want that fiberglass exposed to excess moisture in the winter.

Just gotta change all the fluids and put new rotors on her and she's golden. Probably get some leather conditioner too.

Congratulations man!

Do you plan on running studs in the winter? If so, I've been extremely pleased with my Firestone Winterforce studs and they were very reasonably priced.
