A very sad thing happened today

I took my wife to the movies this evening. No, that is not the sad thing. We saw Dinner for Schmucks, it was not that great, alright, but not that great. No, that was not the sad thing either.

We were leaving the movie theater and I heard some young lady, probably early high school, maybe even junior high, say "Do you see that new Mustang, those are awesome cars!" Then she exclaimed "I love your Mustang" as we were driving off. Yes, is sad, very sad. How could anyone, I mean anyone, mistake the two cars? A Mustang is a nice car and all, but it is no Camaro. WTF??

I almost wanted to turn around and do a drive by, but I believe that would have been wasted on her. I decided to take her comments as a complement that she really liked my car, regardless of what she thought it was, and that made me feel good at least.

Fortunately, she still has a lot of learning to do. Glad you saw the good side of that exchange.

Pump your own gas? Who pumps their own gas?

I feel your pain. Unfortunately, not everybody is a car enthusiast...at least she recognized a muscle car.
