yea i figured, but if i plan to maybe one day re-apply the center caps, would a screwdriver be the best idea?

i've never met a center cap that didn't just pop off with a screwdriver

Something hard plastic will help prevent damage to the center cap or the wheel. You could just take off the wheel and pop it out from the back with the butt end of the screw driver and a light tap with a hammer (my preferred method)

when i replaced my centre caps just took the wheel off and the centre caps popped out with my hand. it's a bit of a pita jacking the car up and taking each tire off but saves any damage to anything

if you want to take it even one step further (like i did) put a rag on the jack and then lift the car. the tires are light and don't need to come off the ground far to slide off the car

welcome to alberta we eat cow, drill oil and rope calves

wants to push you down a flight of stairs to see if you are like a slinky or if you bounce like a ball... either way, I am quite sure I will be amused
