Good remote start systems?

So, its freaking freezing here this week. my wife finally told me she wants to put a remote start on her 07 camry 4 cylinder. i was also concidering putting one on my plow truck,01 silverado 2500. i have been looking at a few local car shops that install these. 1 did my buddies car and totally f'd things up on his ignition. the other shop is very credible, but backed up until late january. they were installing autopage systems. all i want is 1 button for starting the car. not keyless entry or trunk popping. just auto start. so who makes a good one? Best buy has one for 140 and 120 installed. 1 button only remote. just what i want. manufacturer is Avital. i saw them on ebay for 40 bucks. figured i could buy it and install myself or take it to best buy for them to do it and save me 100 bucks per car. give me some opinions and options.

if you click on the go button next to the blackberry, then click where to buy, you should be able to find a dealer near you. most dealers also install them.

i really like this system. the only thing i dont like is the monthly fee to use the system. its only 3 bucks. but its just kinda stupid that, not only do you have to pay full retail price for it, and get it installed by a dealer, but then you have to pay a monthly fee for it to work.....FOR EVER.

i may just buy the kit that uses the regular remote for it.

i didn't know that!

well, viper makes some good remote start systems, that don't include alarms.

this is really all you NEED for remote start. just be sure to ask them to program the lock/unlock buttons to the car so you don't have to lug around multiple transmitters on your keys:

the remote start only kits are not too hard to install yourself. the ones that include alarms are the ones that are more difficult.

all i want is the remote start. having it on your phone is a really cool idea and it would be convenient. i dont think i want the alarm and all the other BS. ill have to go to best buy and talk to them about my options. they sell viper there.
