Anyone see Tron Legacy?

All I have to say is WOW!

Visual Effects: A+
Story: B+
Music: A+
Characters: A-

The original Tron was a flop in theaters, but over the years, became a cult classic. Being a child of the 1980's, I've seen it at least 30 times. I love this movie, as bad as it is, I love it! Tron Legacy is definitely an adept sequel. I'm very impressed.

I think my only sticking point with the movie is the way the character "Tron" was portrayed.

Could've done with less obvious Ducati product placement too.
More Tron too....

I remember seeing the original when it first came out. Was a totally different type of film for the day.

I just hope they don't wait another 30 years to make Tron 3.

It's coming out in 3D on Blue ray but what a bought on DVD ?, I haven't seen any movie's yet come out in 3D and I believe all of them will be compatible w/blue ray but what a bought DVD, I won't be buying any 3D movies til theirs more of them and justify buying the box to hook up to my TV.
I'd love to see Tron in 3D & HD tho.

Went to see it a few days ago and loved it. The special effects were amazing. I had the choice between 2D or 3D version so I chose the 3D since I was in one of those, "okay... impress me" moods. I have to say the 3D was done very well. Nothing in your face like older 3D movies were like. Sometimes very subtle 3D effects and sometimes not so subtle. Very cool stuff.

If you are on the fence about it, go see it. It's a worthy sequel in my opinion.

Now for a rant... $7.50 for a matinee in 2D. $11 for a matinee in 3D and I hear the IMAX 3D is almost $25. Double You Tee Eff?! Really? I'm tellin' ya, movie prices are out of control. Almost as out of control as the concession stand. $12 for a small popcorn and medium soda is ridiculous.

Went to see it this week at an IMAX w/3d. It was great. The special effects were awesome. The story was pretty good too. Definitely better than the original, but I'd like to see the original enhanced and in a IMAX too.

IMAX 3d in Dallas was $16.

As for the movie, I thought it was a good sequel and a good movie all the way around. Felt the 3d wasn't as spectacular as some reviews made it out to be but it was still a good 3d experience.

Hey, you want to lay the fate of the world on the kid's Camaro? That's cool.

I bought a car, turned out to be an alien robot. Who knew?
