My Ski Trip to Durango, CO

just got back from my ski trip.... doesn't look like i missed much

here is how it went:

Monday - we took ski lessons; been about 12 years since the last time i snow skied and this was a first for my wife.
Tuesday - we skied on our own, i fell about 10 times, she fell about 10 times. one of the more memorable ones were when i went about 50 mph straight down a slope and purposely leaned back and fell to stop myself. it was awesome!
Wednesday - we went sledding down a hill. the walk up was a PITA but the ride down and the jump we made was fun!
Thursday - i stayed in with "Altitude Illness"... fever, nausea, bowl problems... missed my final day to use my lift ticket and ski rentals
Friday - we went to a frozen lake and attempted to walk on it but failed, went shopping in Durango, then went to the ski resort where the rest of our party was and rode tubes down this hill.

we had a blast, definitely a trip we will be repeating either yearly or every other year! i highly recommend Durango for both beginners, experienced, and advanced skiiers/snowboarders. the mountain was huge with lots to do for everyone including a freestyle course, ski trails, many green, blue, and black slopes.

here's some pics:

thanks guys, we had a lot of fun!

i just wanted to show all the funny ones of me falling. i only fell a few times... honestly! I'm not a fan of blue slopes... too steep for me. but i think if we go yearly we will get better and better.

here's a video of my wife showing me how it's done:

and here's a video of her doing this bungee jump thing... i would of done it, but feared i would retaste my lunch!
