Going back to 4th gen.

I will be selling my car next month. I just dont think its a great drag platform without $$$. Its a great looking car and fun to drive, but I cant justify my payments plus corvette tax on parts plus it being so heavy. So fyi all my parts from my car will be for sale. I picked up a Buell xb12r for my summer toy this year, and will be replacing the Camaro with an h3 for the DD while I shop around for a new project car.

Anyways the following parts will be for sale soon so if you are in the need of anything let me know.

New Era Performance CAI.
Dynatech suppermaxx 1 7/8 headers w/highflow cats.
Nitrous outlet 2010 Camaro plate kit with all the bells and whistles.
NANO kit for nitrous.
18" z06 knock offs with MT et streets 305/45s with 1/4 inch spacer. No rubbing problems and cut 1.7s.
Will also trade for some $$$ my ported tb and intake manifold. There is a thread somewhere around here it.

I havent set prices on anything yet as nothing will be off the car until next week. Ive been thinking of an ls3 4th gen and I cant shake the idea, so I must like it.

let me know about that ported intake and throttle body. this is for a LS3 camaro right?

i feel ya. our 2002 Formula is still our drag car. the 5th gen is just for fun. 4th gens are hard to beat bang for the buck wise... they respond to mods so well.

sorry you're selling the 5th, but people will be snatching up those parts for sure.

If you are needing something strictly racing I understand why you are selling this car.
The 5thgen is still New so parts are goingt to cost more. When Gen6 comes out im sure this will be like the 4thgen.


however imo it will be a long time before 4thgens are out dated for racing that was a dam good platform for drag racing.

When Gm went to the IRS and lost the solid rear axle traction went along with it.

oh well what ever suits you best.

well a L99 but yes those parts are the same on either engine.

I love Irocs an LS3 Iroc with 4thgen suspenison would be pretty sick
