I've never had HBO...so no...lol. I was still bumming on the death of 8-track back then. Now that's old!

Didn't they also play it in theaters? I never had HBO and I have seen that.

You probably saw it at a friend's apartment like I did. It was familiar but it just didn't evoke the same feeling. I was already into my "way to busy getting into trouble to watch TV" phase by the time the 80's rolled around.

Yep I remember watching it. Amazing the time spent just making the model of the city all to shoot a 80 second intro. Why don't they do stuff like this anymore? screw cgi

HBO had an 30 minute show on how they made that intro. Making of the city and colors light to move in circle.
