Lumina/G8 vs C6

There is some wheel hop there out of the Lumina.
It does look like its hanging with the C6 though, but the Lumina defintely got a jump off the line.

Man, I wish I knew what the hell he's saying.

I understood: "Corvette LS2", "Lumina SS" and "Bye Bye"

Seems like the G8 (et al) should be a pretty good performer though!

I am so torn between the G8 (Which I could talk the wife into buying) and the Camaro (Which I would rather have).
I guess I will be stuck with the G8. For some reason she does not think that my 700+ rwhp 98 Camaro is a family car? I have no idea why. I tell her it is very safe, it can get out of the way of an accident very quickly, and it is ok if the kids have to crawl under the roll cage to get into the back! lol

Lumina has been around in Holden form in Australia, and Chevy form in the Middle East for the last several years.

The version of it we get here is the Pontiac G8, and later the Chevy Impala.
And perhaps one more down the road.

Like Octane said on the Lumina.

It was defintley a horrible race, but once they got going the Lunina did hang with the vette. The Lumina defintley didn't beat it by that much though. I think if they got a good start that the vette would be a little in front. I think it pulled slightly on the Lumina.
