that ten years ago today, i took this home...
2002 Formula Firehawk #0180. i call him "Endymion." i worked 80 hours a week in the summer of 2001 to save up part of my down payment on him. i had the 2001 SLP Firehawk hero card/brochure blown up to a 24X36 poster that i hung over my bed in my college dorm room so i could look at it every night and keep myself motivated (and just to have something beautiful to look at all the time... i still have that poster and it hangs in our bedrooom).
i ordered him in July 2001, he was converted at SLP in September 2001, and i picked him up from Sewell Dallas on October 20, 2001. he was the first manual trans car i owned so the first 2 weeks were a learning experience, but he is so much fun to drive.
he's got 20,000 miles now... and i know some of you are probably thinking, "geez girl, you never drive that car!" but he's been with me a long time and we've done a lot together. here are just a few highlights...
this was taken at Sewell Cadillac New Orleans (where i worked at the time) a few days after i got him home. still had the temp tag on
at Daytona Speedway in 2002
first time out at Cruisin the Coast 2002
getting signed by Dave H. at SLP Day in Orlando 2003

and this was taken about 3 weeks ago when i got him out of the garage for some sunshine. this photo was not touched up... he's so **** shiny it looks blingy lollz
here's to you, Endy... and many more miles of smiles
