I'd have to take some time to compile that list, but the first that comes to mind is the ultimate old school psychological horror movie... The Shining.

Got to watch Halloween this time of year. But the horror movie that bothered me the most was The Exorcist. I seen it when I was twelve at the movies and I could not sleep by myself for a week. I have not watched that movie since. lol

These are the only 2 horror movies I have ever had truly scare me. Poltergeist scared the hell out of me when I was young. Paranormal Activity 1 had me praying to God for protection from evil. I don't know why I got so into that movie, but it scared the crap out of me.

You have impeccable taste Envy. The Evil Dead 2 could almost be considered comedy as well. The scene when he has his girlfriends head in the vise and tells her "You're going down!" is probably my favorite moment in any movie ever. Bruce Campbell is the greatest.

For me...it was the original Phantasm movie that scarred my childhood and gave me nightmares for years to come. I still sleep with a dream catcher above my bed to this day...lol.

And thanks Darkrider...all three are scary and hilarious all at the same time.
