Any big difference between 2010, 2011, and 2012 SS Camaro's ?

It is me Mike V A.K.A. Bucketlist.

I need your help....

My wife and I just had "The Meeting"....

If I can crunch the numbers and Sell some assets and Trade the 350Z in, I can get a used SS Camaro.....

I won't be buying New, Hate losing all that value....

And would I even want to, if I could get a great deal on a 2011 ?

I will not be buying a ZL-1 or vert yet....Due to 71 Z/28 Pro Touring Modifications...I have spent that cash already, and I am actually glad i did...Otherwise ,the 71Z/28 would have sat for 10 more years......

I really wasn't listening when you guys and gals talked about the different model years ,ect...

I did not think it was time....It may not be because I roll debt free, but the wheels are in motion.. If I bought new, 0 percent financing ??

Are 2010 SS good ? Is the 2011 better and should I wait ?

Still have to catch my breath and decide if this is the time...

I can pull this off...

I noticed some have round tailpipes, and some have square one's....

One I may look at soon in sacramento..

I am going to the Local dealer's tomorrow to test drive one to see if the wife would like it.......

If it is nimble and feels small and not bulky...we are in....

I need to take some anxiety meds.....A Newcastle Brown Ale should help in stead...

I......Mike V. Bucket list, am testing an SS tomorrow......And checking on my baby in the Pro Touring Shop.....

Cars...cars....cars......Is that all boys think of ??? Nope......but it is tops on our list.....

Wow, very nice pic of a 5th gen

It all depends.. 2010 is the first model that came out, they will be the cheapest IMO,
theirs not much difference from the 2010's vs 2011's, the back up censers are more common on late model 10's, standard on 11's, early models will also have the GM Logo
on the fr. fenders.

2011's vs 2012's well, theirs several things, mainly the interior, some models will have
a back up camera's but all will have back up censers.
Hope that helps

Mike,

Here is a link providing you all the changes/updates on the 2012 SS: https://www.moderncamaro.com/forum/5t...-interior.html

I could not find the thread where everyone was discussing the differences between the 10, 11, and 12 models, but Hotrod touched on most of them. I'm not sure when it became standard, but 2011 had the HUD, which is really nice. The 45th Anniversary SE that I test drove had it, and I Loved it!!!

Hope that helps.......

...HUD,
Heads Up Display came out only on LS2 & SS1 +SS2 for 2010's same w/the 4 pod
gauges, the 2011's (HUD) came standard on most models (except early models, LS1's)
I do believe, Envy knows, we had talked a bought it last year on a thread
( can't believe I forgot, me usually remembers ) !
Envy is a great resource & keeps up w/all the camaro's, she's got a sharp mind
Oh and I do believe the HP on the V6's & V8's for 10's had a tad less HP than the 11's
if I remember correctly
The RS models have painted aluminum wheels with Midnight Silver finish,
body-color roof ditch molding, LED halo ring and RS unique tail lamps.

SORRY..

I am closing the Thread... Houston, We have a Miss Fire......

I have Health issues and my Wife loves me so much, she would trade her car in and spend the Money for an SS for Me.

She wants the 350Z upgrade... I know it...

I love her too much to Buy a Car she does not Want..

I blew my wad on the 71 Z/28.

Could be in an SS right now...I made my choice...

Thanks for your support.

I am avoiding the Dealership....
