Whats the fastest you EVER went? What kind of Car?

Just wanted to get an idea of how crazy we can all be. Please tell me the fastest you ever went & what kind of car it was in?
For my husband: He was in a 98 Cobra running from alot of cops in Harrisburg, PA going about 140 w/ a couple of other guys
For me: 130mph in 91 Talon

I am sure if my husbands 86 T/A or my 87 GTA was street ready those numbers would not be VALID.LOL. In the process of refinishing them.

Can't wait to hear from others.

No this was about 9 years ago shortly before we met. His trouble is over with after the below incident. He has grown up since then.
this took place in 2004
I was in my 87 305 HO running from the cops DRUNK in the rain, actually getting AWAY through 4 counties, adrenaline pumping when I could not see red & blue lights anymore when all of a sudden the guardrail jumped out and took me for a 120 foot ride. I spun around and the other guardrail on the other side picked up the slack & took me for another 50 foot ride. I am thankful I did not get hurt nor anybody else for that matter. My car pretty much had a slight guardrail indentation down the car from one bumper to the other on BOTH sides. I did not have the heart to keep it as it reminded me of the **** jumping guardrails so I gave it to my brother who drove it like that for a full year until I took it back from him fixed most of it & sold it. It was a lesson learned & I will NEVER drink & drive again, as I am sure you will be more careful taking your eye off the road. We all do stupid **** sometimes we get away with it sometimes things just jump out & smack us into reality. Oh the cops got me after hitting the guard rail slid between 2 cop cars back onto highway a few more miles when my car finally ran out of gas just as I was about to loose them AGAIN. ****. What is really messed up this is all true I am sitting here laughing now but at the time it was not funny. I got pretty banged up bouncing off the doors and windshield. That next day I was sore. Boys & girls you got to be careful driving them in the rain but when you are drunk it is FAR more dangerous. Do not drink & drive. I lost a very impressive 305HO due to my stupidty, not to mention my license for the previous 2 years & next year. I have totally new line of cars my wife gets to have fun in & I get the joy of working on them but have yet to drive them..

We got a alot on our plate w/ 2 autistic sons & while it does not justify what he has done in his past, he has learned from his mistakes.

I agree. My kids are usually ALWAYS with me so I drive speed limit but on the day in the 91Talon they were not - I had to see what she had. I backed off at 130 too. It is scary.

140 something in an 02 Z06. I wasn't driving. The scariest fast I've ever been was 105 in a Scion Xb with a "friend" driving, trying to text on a cell phone, light a cigarette and leaving the freeway via a 45 mph off-ramp.

The fasted I've driven was atleast 100mph in my 97 S-10. Was my senior year in High School and was one of the days they unofficially let us off early. I love how they did that..they left the parking lot gates open and the security guards were all away from the exits. Was awesome. I was probably going faster because when I got the truck it had tires 2 sizes too big.. so I was probably going around 105 or so. This was back when I was USED to going fast and going below 80mph on that road felt slow..even though it's a 65mph highway. I travelled it every day and traffic normally went 80-85+ in the fast lane. Now I feel weird when I hit 70mph .

The fastest I ever been was probably 110(didn't see the spedo) with one mildly-psychotic guy while driving back from Lebanon, KY my first day of this one job (that I only had for 4 days).

I've had both my babies up to 150 mph.

Much, much scarier in the SS.

'02 Camaro SS LE-SLP 485 hp H/C et al., 3.73:1 Moser 12-bolt, 1200W audio w/ XM, etc.

'07 Corvette Z06 Victory Red, Cobalt Red leather accents, 2LZ w/ NAV, OnStar, museum delivery - bone stock...only needs driver mod.

My CTS has been 130
My 98 Camaro has been 149 with plenty to spare, just have no reson to go any faster and the only reason I know it was 149 is because I was logging on HPTuners
I had my 99 S10 Extreme to 145
I had my 82 Camaro to 160

The last two where measured by GPS.
