Sound only....

Going SRICTLY on sound, would you rather have the whine from a supercharger or the siss and blow off from the turbo? this is a sound discussion not a power vs this and that......

Neither. But if I had to choose blower over turbo I'd say blower even though I have a turbo and you cannot hear the BOV or wastegate or however its setup.

Neither, I just want the roar of the engine, nothing else.

Doug if your talking about the Porsche in the picture then you don't hear anything because th waste gate is internal. it's inside the exhaust side of the turbo. to hear it you would have to put an after market one on the intake tube. then replace the intake box and stock air box with an after market intake tube. then you would hear it!

me personally i like the whine of the supercharger whine. once it gets moving with a lot of boost it screams!

i fell in love with a whine... only kinda of whining i like, not from a female turbo's are cool and all but a supercharger whine is scarier.

Supercharger if I had to choose.
But I really prefer the engine all by itself, honestly.

I like the sound of a supercharger. But I like to be stealthy and quiet as well.
