Lightbulb The Story of Two Dogs

A video I made about our two puppies in Iraq.

I'd love to know what y'all think.

Unhappy

I am a huge dog lover. I hate how unit commanders view dogs. We had a similar issue in Kuwait. The Seabees had a stray that they took care of outside of the perimeter of the base, where they were working. Well, those guys ultimately came to our facility to do some work, that little stray followed. She was a sweety. The powers that be got wind of it and the dog disappeared. I knew what that meant.

I've heard so many stories like this from my friends in other units and other branches. It's always the same. A few sick-os with emotional issues that make them want to abuse animals and an uncaring S.O.B. that thinks anything aside from his or her spouses purebred AKC registered shoe eater is vermin. I wish there was a more humane option.

I never stop giving my little shoe eater hugs. Because I want at least one dog to know that they are loved unconditionally. It makes me so sad to see things like this but overall, you made a great video!

Those poor little cuties.

Still a wannabe.

I waited the almost hour to see your video. What a sad shame. I would hope that you could have trained the dogs to use to your benefit. Your efforts to save them made the last few days of their lives full & better then it would have been with out you. They were adorable little girls. How horrible. One more reason to hate our government.

It was not a problem to wait, it sucked b.c I had to watch it the 1st time in 2 second chunks. I HATE dial up. My husband & I were discussing it today. I made him watch it with me, he was also disturbed. I am a HUGE animal lover! I jumped out a moving car on a major highway 7 mths pregnant with my first son to rescue a beagle puppy from running into the highway. My father came within centimeters of running me over & my husband almost killed me for jumping out of a moving car pregnant. I know the great measures we animal lovers can take to prevent harm from coming to an innocent animal. I have a mini zoo at my house (post on pets thread) most of my animals were rescued. I will be thinking of your story & getting it out there so other americans can know the hidden truths that are untold & not expected for our soldiers to endure. I hope it can save some of the animals. Thank you for taking the time to make that video to dedicate to the girls.
I look at who replied & it appears the 2 most active women on the site replied to the thread. Go figure.

I watched it the first day you posted it and still have mixed feelings why it was even made or posted.
