What's your favorite GEAR?

Ok folks, this is probably more of a personality test than anything. But I want to know what your favorite gear is, and why?

Reverse - It means you're just about to start your drive, or you're backing out to start washing/waxing.

First - Launch. Nuff said.

Second - The pulling away gear. Also the cruising slowly through a crowd so people can see you gear. And it's my favorite gear because it probably means I'm on the autocross course.

Third - Finishing gear. Should take you through the finish lights on the drag strip. Also takes you up (and possible over) speed on the on-ramp for highways to merge in easily.

Fourth - Cruising around the "city/town" at speed limits. Also serves as a nice passing gear on 2 lane highways.

Fifth - Haven't really found a use for this except for hitting 150 mph on a non-public controlled site. Yes, I have.

Sixth - Highway gas mileage fun. Some people just love to hit the open road and cruise to the next checkpoint in the game of life!

I know I haven't hit all the uses for all the gears, but that's what your comments should explore! Post away!

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

My reason is because from a 40mph roll race I use this gear!

Definitely second gear. I love ripping it when I upshift and squealing the tires. And it's perfect for downshifting and leaving other cars in the dust.

I frickin' love second gear in the Shelby...that's the one he bucks like a wild stallion in! And it can be quite a challenge just to stay in the saddle once I dig my heels in...lol.

second gear..

The tires are still spinning and the front tires come off the ground just a bit and the steering wheel is of no use for that split second..Also you may jump lanes , if you are not careful..

I swear if i had wings on the doors, it would lift off ...
