Highway MPG?

Just completed a 2800 mile round trip from San Diego, CA to White Oak, TX this afternoon. After averaging 71.2 mph, I recorded a 23.0 mpg for the trip.

I though that wasn't too bad for a small block V-8. I did have the A/C on for the majority, too.

Very happy with those numbers.

Anyone else see better/worse? Btw, she has the Cold Air Inductions CAI installed.

drove 500 miles in the chally and averaged 24mpg at around 90... i was picking up over 30 mpg at 70mph, but that was too slow driving out west.

That's pretty good.....After chainging to Amsoil, I average 23+ in my daily driving. 80%highway/20%city. I've always been pleased/impressed with Chevy small block mileage abilities.

Amsoil, huh? I was wondering about going that direction, too.

Before when I was on Mobile 1, best I could do was 21mpg sometimes close to 22. If I could only keep my fight foot in check, I could probably reach 24 or better.

500 Mile trip, SS/M6, AC and Cruise, +5 over the posted speed limit, so mostly 70-80mph

25 mpg

46k on a 2010

On a different note, I reset the mpg on the DIC for the last autocross. 3 mpg during the event.

2010 Stock IBM 2SS/RS

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

I have done a few trips to WI and TX and St. Louis. I normally averaged about 24.5 on all the above. Best I got was on way to WI and got 25.7. On way back from TX I got about 22.6 but was going A LOT faster... I typically set cruise at 76 on hwys that are 70mph limit
