Shelby Magazine/Auto club

I was in the book store the other day and saw the Shelby 2007 annual magazine.

Now this was a well put together magazine / ad campaign / new forum member sign up tool. I haven't seen anything close to this from GM groups.
Anybody seen this magazine? It's levels above what I see with Camaro/ Vette magazines. The content (Ford stuff-rebadged as Shelby) is well done. This is something that would be great for the the 5th Gen community to do close to launch time.

The magazine "Camaro Performers" by Primedia is done pretty well, but it's not backed by GM.

I've seen that one. I was just taken by surprise by the quality of the Shelby publication. I've been interested in marketing, so I may find it more interesting because of HOW the content was presented.(which was done very well)

I like well written magazines. It had history, production facilities coverage, and model coverage. Shelby GT guys may find it disappointing that for the markup they paid it only takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to add stripes and badging to turn a factory Mustang to a Shelby.

I started the thread up because it would nice to see a nice well put together magazine with heritage, racing photos, drivers, the new cars coming off the assembly line, model distinctions and the like. The effort of the editor and staff really shows. I was more or less stating the current magazines for GM and Mopar cars are slacking off.

As much money that people are paying for GTs re-badged as Shelby cars, they should have lots of money to spend, and they need to spend it to make those people feel better about their purchase. I'd rather have a car that makes me feel like I made a good purchase.

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"
