Get your hands on the first 2009 ZR1

It looks like Barrett Jackson will be autioning off the "first retailable unit built" at next months auction.

What's your guess for what it it will go for?

Yikes!

With a sticker price of around $100,000... I'm guessing about $175,000 at Barret-Jackson.

300k+ there's tons of people that would pay that kinda of money to have the first blown vette to sit in their show rooms.

"First Retailable Unit Built" First time I've heard that term.
It's usually first saleable vehicle off the line, not necessarily VIN 00001 anymore.

Looks like the proceeds go to charity

I wouldn't be suprised to see that car hit $300K personally. I wonder if the BJ guys are still bidding up their own auctions

They need to proof read their listings

I wouldn't be suprised if it hit over 300 myself especially for a charity event. I got Jay Leno and Shaq being there.

When the proceeds goto charity you can expect the sale price to be pretty high. For the rich guys it's a way to get the ZR-1 and a tax write off in the process.
