Well, everyone was complaining about how underpowered it was, it was bound to happen. However, I still think they should have gone with the 3.6 V6 (300 HP), or even a supercharged 6 would have been more efficient. If Hummer wants the tree huggers off their backs, they need to create a Hybrid Hummer.

I really like the H3 SUT, but there's no way I'm going to get one, because of price, gas mileage, and reputation. Throw a hybrid version out there, and 2 of the 3 are helped.

2010 Stock IBM 2SS/RS

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

Yeah, I'm included in that. I've got a 1993 Ford F-150 that when you mash the gas, you can actually see the fuel gauge move down.

Luckily my other V8 (1994 Corvette) gets about 21 (even with spirited driving). At least I'm not replacing a little efficient car with my new Camaro, or I'd feel bad. Well, maybe not. But I'd think that I should feel bad.

They dropped that 5.3l in the highest-trim crew-cab-only Colorado/Canyon, as well.

Personally, I rather have the 5 cylinder with a 5spd. With a bit of work the 5cylinder can have quite a bit of power, and if you drive like a sane man I've heard of people getting 40mpg highway out of it. (older 3.5L with 5spd)

Yup I've heard that too.
Same thing with the base model Cobalts & HHRs.
I've heard a report of as high as 43mpg out of an HHR.

My friend has the 3.5/5 and claims his DIC once hit 50mpg.
