Sponsor's Billing Practice

I called the Sponsor on here and asked them when I would receive my items since it was billed out on my credit card 5/18. My credit card statement was received today for this item. The lady told me it would probably be two more weeks. "Probably Be" is what I don't like plus of course being billed already.

What is a normal practice? I told the lady if it was not here in the "Probably" two weeks then I will cancel the order. Of course I don't plan to do that since I 've not found another company that makes this product. Michael in Virginia

"Normal Practice" for those I have dealt with in the past is not to bill for a item until that item ships. Billing like you experiencing sounds rather questionable to me!! Good Luck!

And most card companies only allow you to dispute the charge up to 30 days from the billing. So if at the "probably 2 week" time frame plus the time already past, you might be screwed...

It's funny I just called them about this practice today and later today I got a tracking # that just went out today too. Don't figure sometimes!!

You called the CC company and then all of a sudden got a tracking number & shipping notice? Sounds like the vendor you are dealing with got an earful!
