The Man of Steel

Nanci and I saw The Man of Steel last saturday.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that IMO it was better than all the X-Men movies, Spider-man movies, Captain America, Thor, and new Star Trek movies.

Ranks right up there with the Iron Man movies, Wolverine, and The Avengers.

Definitely worth the price of admission. 3 hours long, but didn't seem like it.

My only complaint... they didn't get John William's permission to use the Superman theme. Miss that!!!

Btw, Marcus Theaters offers Veterans matinee pricing at night if you show one of the following... DD Form 214, military ID, VA ID, Disabled Veterans ID, etc.

I watched it on Tuesday. Really, really great movie! Ranks up there with the Dark Knight only even a little better. Worth every penny to see it. Really set the bar high for any more sequel's.

They've already signed the actor who portrays Superman for 2 more movies.

Let's hope the 2nd movie in the Trilogy will have Superman dying in his fight against Doomsday and the final movie being his return.

A movie with Superman vs Doomsday is long overdue. Let's face it, the lousy cartoon from a few years ago left alot to be desired.

Superman was always my favorite super hero. I am so glad that they finally made a decent movie instead of the hokey ones that they made in the past. The guy that played superman actually looked the part for a change. The special effects were really good too. You actually can believe he can fly.

There were times when he was growing up that you wanted him to beat "seven kinds of cat $hit" out of a few pesky "humans". He finally got to take it out on Zod in their epic fight. I think the movie was well done. I hope the next one can meet the bar set by this one.

Finally, an action packed Superman movie. All the previous ones was too much drama with Lois Lane. I just wish these people that made this movie, would do a Dragonball Z movie. I think the action and special effects were top notch.
