So... what does everyone think of the new Challenger?

Figure this oughtta liven up the discussion a little...

I for one love it. Yeah yeah I know, it's too heavy, it's too much like the original (TOO retro), it's a Chip Foose knockoff... but I've always been a Mopar guy at heart, so it's refreshing to see Mopar FINALLY getting back into the muscle car game after all this time (sorry, the Viper doesn't count). You know what they say about competition improving the breed - in a couple of short years (hopefully sooner), you'll be able to go into a Ford, Dodge or Chevy dealership and actually buy an affordable V8 rear drive 4 passenger muscle car that'll do the 1/4 in the 13s - right off the showroom floor. Who'd have thought that possible even 2 years ago?

I for one can't wait!

Its too literal of an interpretation of a '71. They didn't do anything new or original. That's what I like about the Camaro. There's lots of 1st gen in there, but in a totally new wrapper.

This gives me a thought...we may need a general automotive industry news forum.

I like it, but the design doesn't show much imagination or creativity.
Put a 1970 Challenger in a photocopier, round some edges, and you're done.

Also, it's way too big and heavy.
