Wink HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!

Found out our full service car wash in neighborhood offers a 2 for 1 deal($32...ultimate) on Weds. Boyfriend and I took the Pony in first. I then drove back with Cami Vert. The guys jaws dropped and basically told me I broke a MAJOR rule owning Ford and a Chevy. They were totally impressed by Cami. The boss then told me he'd take the Camaro all day long 'cause it would SMOKE the Mustang. I loooooove making the boys JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's cool. Sunday morning a lady selling Sunday paper at a corner street light, said she loved my Camaro but didn't like the ugly car on the next lane ( a 2004 or 5 ish mustang). It's weird because I saw the Mustang pulling up beside me and thought it was pretty cool looking with some cosmetic mods.

I get that. This isn't your run of mill car wash...I feel honored when I go there. There is usually a Rolls or Bentley or two there on any given day

That's cause its Vegas ... in Podunk VA or ID, those types of cars don't come around but on a purple moon (way more rare than the blue moon). I just finally saw a ZL1 here (same one twice in an hour, but in very different place) for the first time ever this week. So, anyway, that means our car washes are not stellar.

I can't help but throw this out there...just because you own a Rolls or a Bentlye (as many of my clients do) doesn't mean you know squat about preserving a cars finish or keeping it's paint in pristine condition. Rich people use car washes because they have no interest in doing the work themselves and it's no sweat for them to pay a professional detailer to restore their cars finish after a car wash swirls it up.

I don't think there is anything wrong with using a car wash in general...especially for the average owner that is not planning on keeping their car for more than a few years. But I plan on owning Envy for the next 30 to 40 years. That's why it's very important to me to preserve her Synergy Green paint job for as long as possible...so I wouldn't dream of letting someone else lay a hand on her...and that's why her paint still looks showroom new even after 3 1/2 years of sitting in the baking Texas sun.
