What are you THANKFUL for??????

Yes....it's that time of year for giving thanks. Since I asked it's only fair that I start.

2013 has been very very GOOD to me. I have a LOT to be thankful for. This time last year....I was a bit of a trainwreck. I had just ended a 27 year marriage...was financially a mess and was in awful depression....and "who the heck did I piss off mode".

Then in Nov. of last year(3 short months after separation) I met my SOULMATE....and we've been inseparable ever since.

January of this year I reconnected with my parents(live about 15 miles from me) who I been estranged from for about 20 years because of my now ex husband(btw...they LOVE the boyfriend).

In August I settled a long lawsuit...it was a very good move for me and now I don't worry as much about my bank account(funny when I was married my checking account was literally negative all the time). I bought my Camaro convertible the day after my settlement and I'm now in the process of buying and owning my very first home...at age 54!!!!!!

So yes....I have a TON to be thankful for this year...how about the rest of my friends here at MC????????

I am thankful for owning my house, my truck, and my Camaro free and clear. At the age of 40, it's a great accomplishment for me, even though I never went to college.

Well since you ask:

I'm thankful to be alive after hitting the stupid ***** making an illegal 3-point turn in a double blind S-curve while riding my Ducati!!

Of course I am even more thankful for my very understanding and lovely wife, and my crazy American Bulldog, Jake and everything I have worked so hard for in my life....

I'm truly blessed with a fantastic wife and children, and we are all healthy. We moved my 88 yo dad in with us a month ago and I'm thankful that he will be able to spend quality time with his Grandchildren and live comfortably.

Midnighter.....BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!! Good for you.
Yes I am buying my home free and clear...so no mortgage. Convinced if I was still in my toxic marriage....nothing good would have been done with my settlement. Yes...he lived to party and was totally irresponsible. I tolerated his BS....turned my head for way too many years.
