What a way to start a morning

It's freezing out, I start the car, and it tells me that my one tire has 10 PSI

Pop a look and sure enough, screw in the tire. Had to air it up and head to a tire shop and get it patched.

Luckily they were still able to patch it up for me and I was able to get on the way. Didn't want to replace these tires, since they are going to be replaced next winter with a dedicated set of snow tires

well look at the bright side, you could have pulled out, half mile down the road heard the thump thump thump and stopped and not have a spare and had to use your 200 dollar pump and then had to go to the shop ... anyway, glad it worked out

I keep a small compressor in the trunk of my cars, works off the cigarette lighter. $10 well spent.

Also I do have the spare, I was able to get the spare tire and stripes for free when negotiating for the car haha

good job ... I do worry about not having a spare, but that's the way it goes ... guess I should invest $10

It's tough to have a spare on some of these cats, but gotta do something right?

My small compressor was from Walmart. It's slow, but it's decent enough for the few times a year I use it.

Get a plug kit and a small 12V compressor. That'll take care of most issues.

Does the convertible not have the spot above the battery like the coupe??

When I move the carpeting to get to the battery, that's where the spare sits, remove the spare, get to the battery.

I just turned 69 & the only blow out or flat tire was when I was 16 and driving the Driver Ed Car thru my High School. I t was the right front and that was a quick learning experience and as I recall I did just what I had learned. Me in South Boston, VA Michael
