Lately, the wild nauga has been seen with a pattered skin to allow it to blend in to its surroundings. Evolution has provided protection from predators.

The hide is very popular among outdoorsman for clothing and furniture.


Naugahyde

There are three naugas in this picture. Can you spot them?

Naugas are also camera shy. I tried to photograph some at a local nauga plantation, but they all turned away from me, leaned over and touched their noses to the ground. I could not bring myself to post a picture of a bunch of nauga butts. I don't want to get banned from Modern Camaro!!

I deleted the photos before I read the above post. Their butts aren't much to look at IMO.
Rumor has it that Jay Leno had one of his less expensive sports cars re-upholstered in naugahyde. Two days later Joan Rivers bought it.
