Nobody's talking about GTA IV?

Let me tell ya something...This game has really matured. It's hard to describe, you just have to play the game. Play the game for a couple of hours though, and you'll find yourself wanting to talk like a Russian immigrant.

There's a halfbreed car that I jacked yesterday (looked like it had chrome TTII knockoffs). The front and roofline were all 1st gen Camaro, the back was Challenger. I tried to ignore the back half, LOL.

I bought mine the other day. This is a game I have been waiting for. I love it so far. I love the new features.

I love that they have the navigation now, it makes it much easier to get where your going when your still learning the city.

I jacked a guys car and he tried to get back in and I took off, He was still holding on and I ran him into a poll and blood when all over. It was nuts I was rolling on the floor.

The graphics are much improved and the cars look better, but they are all crossbread. Did you see the Third gen Camaro that is half Camaro half Firebird? I seen an Escalade and Escalade EXT also I think I seen a CTS.

I like the new wanted level think where you have a wanted zone that just gets bigger with your wanted level. It gives you a chance to actually run from the cops and get away from them.

I tried to get to the other islands that are not open and I made it to the edge and then was attacked by a million cops.

I can't wait to get more into the game, because so far it's pretty sweet.

When it started in 2d, GTA had cars that looked production, but were named differently. Once it migrated to 3d, they made the cars half-breeds with different names. I always thought they did a pretty good job of making the cars look close to production cars, but not so close that they'd have to license cars. Is there a GTA4 car that looks like the 5th gen? A 5th gen T/A (or Phoenix if I remember the GTA-esque names correctly) would be awesome!

Also, there are tons of mods for GTA out there that put real cars into the games. I still fire up San Andreas on my PC with 5th gens, CTS's and 350z's.

I saw what looked like a GT40 in passing. I also saw one that looked alot like a new Challenger, but I was driving something else and it was night time.

My wife was going on a trip for 5 days, leaving me with the kids, so she bought me that to bribe me. Started it up the first night after they were asleep, and my Xbox broke! Timing couldn't have been worse.

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

That game is like a drug. The wife had to work yesterday and I played it the whole time she was at work, then from 9 until about 12:30 last night. An absolutely amazing game.

I saw the third gens in the game, and of course, there are a bunch of pseudo first gens. The new Viper is pretty kick ass, as is the Carrera GT. The Cruiser motorcycles are pretty good (they've got that one custom bike with the big ass tires in front and back), but the sport bikes suck...They're just too unruly to ride effectively (at least fast). I keep one of the Carrera's at my safehouse pretty much constantly.

The story arc is great, without being TOO predictable. I still think that Vlad, if he wasn't gay, was bisexual. Brucie is a hilarious characterization of a good friend of mine. I can't wait until he gets back from Iraq to start calling him Brucie. I haven't devoted TOO much time to the story arc. I'm on the second mission of Malorie's second contact (Estebaneta or something is her name). There's just so much to do with going out with friends, playing pool, darts, bowling...getting drunk...etc.

Speaking of getting drunk, I think it's really ashame that MADD is speaking out against the game because it portrays drunk driving. They could really use the game at events to demonstrate the effect of drunk driving.

1st, IMO it portrays drunk driving a helluva lot better than those silly goggles. (and if you get motion sick, will probably make you a little sick).

2nd, your friends and even your own character say several times "It's probably not a good idea for me to drive." The game even prompts you the first time to call a cab and how to do it. You lose rep points with some of the g/fs if you drive drunk.

3rd, you can't go a block without the cops chasing you. If you get caught, it actually goes on your record in the police computers (which you can check when you're in a police car).
