Oak Creek Canyon

We went camping over the long weekend in a little place called Oak Creek Canyon with our best friends. This is only my second time camping ever, and I gotta tell you, I frickin LOVED it. It was cold as piss Saturday, cold as hell Saturday night, but Sunday it was a very nice 50 or 60, Sunday night was pretty cold, and Monday was gorgeous.

What's amazing about AZ is that if you're tired of the hot and arid desert, you can drive a couple of hours, and get something completely amazing. We had sheer canyon cliffs on either side of us.

Here are a few of the pictures that I took (the better ones anyway). Our friends took a couple of others, so when I get them from them, if they're any good I'll post those too:

The road up:

Random pics of us hanging around the site (I'm taking the pics, so obviously I'm not in any of the pics)

Let me tell you, I can't live without coffee so I bought a purcolator for the trip...That is some of the best ****ed coffee I've ever had!

Looks like fun! I love the Sedona/Oak Creek area.

I like those Dayona Rams, but I'd have that wing unbolted and stored out of sight in my garage

LOL That's our friends truck. Ours is the grey one in the background. I love the color "Go ManGo," but I've never been a huge fan of the wing.

I'm not sure we'd travel that far for camping, though if I ever go through that area, I definately want to see it.

We all went to dinner last night and are going to go back Sept 19-21.
