Coool! I would so love to see that in person. Somehow, I don't think Wichita is on their tour schedule....

2010 Stock IBM 2SS/RS

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

I'd love to see an air race. I'd have a hopped up P51.

I've seen those advertised on TV...it looks like it would be a blast to watch live. How big was the crowd? How many races are there? Do they have heats and features like stock car racing? Oh, and most importantly, did they serve BEER????

Bob Lutz: "There's no doubt that a design-driven philosophy is the only one that will work. People who are not sensitive to design, people who don't care about vehicles, people who view a vehicle as an appliance, they just default to Toyota. We will never win that one."

I've always wanted to see it as well, I'm glad I went and ended up having a decent seat after I scapled a ticket

I expected grandstand type seating, but a ticket got you into one of four zones like cattle. I'm glad I went, but wouldn't go again unless it was a large group of friends or I had a hospitality pass of some kind.
