Camaro Freak I have the Injen Long tube CAI and yes it does add HP and torque and also a nice rumble from under the hood. Recent dyno showed my RWHP was now at 266!! Not bad for a V6.

Wertman94 Generally the system is optimally designed with the airbox. The biggest benefits will be realized with a free flowing filter assy and matching exhaust.

rabbit Most CAIs are pretty cheap. I hear lots of good about Injen for the V6, but I personally have Airaid. I think it made a difference, helped with the MPG a little.

markgws6 gsk, take a look around the forum. There are some posts of people having varying results with the different intakes, but most have reset their computers after installing them and after that see a small improvement. I noticed maybe 1mpg difference average installing my Blackwing (granted it's just a tube and a new filter and the cheaper option). So it's not really worth it unless you get an exhaust IMO (which I'll do soon.) You'll likely not see much of a difference with just the intake and more with an intake and exhaust.

Cold air intake for v6 or v8 do it help on HP and torque and gas mileage
