MEDFORD, Wis. -- Frank Oresnik is on the verge of making history driving his old standby -- the pickup truck he says is about to pass the 1 million mile mark.

Well, how about that? An AMERICAN truck with 1 million miles!:patriot: We have seen 2 early 90s Chevy pickups with 350K-over 400K on them here. They were parts delivery trucks for a Chevy dealer here. Not bad considering they were mostly driven in city stop and go driving. Haven't seen any rice trucks with that many miles! :D

Great great news. I hope we see a Chevy commercial with that truck in it. Passing by truck wannabes like a broken down Ridgeline or a Toyota with the rear end blown out from pulling a trailer.

I hope Chevy goes ahead and gives the man a brand new Chevy of his choice. Million mile vehicles are rare and his story is worth the price of a truck hundreds of times over.

No worries. I get irritated at people who make ignorant statements about vehicles they know nothing about (i.e. people with a blind and unfounded hatred of any foreign vehicle). I do like Toyota cars. I will probably look at Toyota first the next time I'm looking at an economy car because my 03 Corolla has been one awesome car. When I bought the Toyota, GM was the first place I looked.

I'm an equal opportunity automobile enthusiast. I don't like rice, but not every import is rice. Rice is what people turn their import into. Rice can include even the venerable Corvette.

If it's cool or revolutionary, I'll like it, no matter who makes it. i.e. the new GT-R is going to be an amazing vehicle, and no matter what anyone else thinks, it's going to give the Z06 one helluva run for the money.

I guess, in the end, I just have a low tolerance for BS. If I didn't like GM, I certainly wouldn't be here. This is the first time in my life I haven't owned at least ONE GM.
