Following the 2008 presidential election, chances are great that we will see changes to our automotive world. I say this for a number of reasons. Based on campaign rhetoric, our next president will take a broader worldview than has been the case.

Hello forum,

This kind of sounds like he is bashing the American mfr's. So Lambo improved thier fuel milage. It probably gets single digit tug boat fuel milage how could you not improve it.

I had a post asking about the milage of Camaros and people were saying high 20's & a couple claimed into low thirties on the highway. My sister said she gets 28 mpg with her Kia. Overall I think the milage the "Dinosour" cars are getting is pretty darn good.

If small, slow & soleless cars are better should'nt they get about twice the milage of the sorry, outdated, planet destrying American Donosour cars.

I'm also mad that I will be forced to buy those squily light bulbs instead of the regular ones. I guess I'm just mad about knee jerk reactions. There is a bigger push to make people do what "we think is best instead of finding out what is best.

This wrighter seems to talk in circules with out making a point and backing it up. If he is the mmabye he needs to get off his high horse and speak in lame man terms that we all can understand. He seems to support europen car compinies and saluite them on saving 18% but doesnt tell us what they started with. He only states one model of car from both GM and Ford, but correct me if wrong does not GM have a whole lot more cars then this that are eco-friendly, and i belive that GM has for eco-friendly then the Ford boys do they not.
