CRF8
gillfades

flat black gill fades from BMC; installed wet method. The only problem is if you look close up, you can see the dried glue behind the clear on the strips; the solid black part of course you cant see through.

ChibiBlackSheep I was very happy putting mine on, added a good amount of depth to the side of the car.

CRF8 I went with the ones from PFYC made by Reflective Concepts . Just attempted to install them, gave up after the first one.

problem #1: the top plastic covering is NOT clear, its opaque, so you can NOT see through it to align the edges of the decal to the edges of the car gill

problem #2: the decal and its plastic covering are so flimsy it doesn't keep any kind of shape whatsoever, so its up to you to make it conform exactly to the car.

If you want to do this, I suggest you buy 2 sets and have a second pair of hands to help you.

I'd let them dry a lot longer at least if it is cool ... mine dried 15 hours, but it was cool. I think someone might have suggested a hair drier

I assume you mean the Gill Stripes, no there not too much, some people like the look some don't. I went with RED Reflective ones on mine so that when another cars headlights hit them they stand out. Some people are more plain Jane than others, never feel bad about what you do to your car, all that matters is that you like it.

BluePhoenix Well most Camaro's will not have any vent decals because they were never offered that way stock with the exception of special edition cars. My view is mixed but I will probably end up with Black fade decals.
