Yesterday while my wife was on her back home from showing off our 2013 Camaro that we had just purchased a week ago a SUV passed her going in excess of 80 mph. When he switched lanes ahead of her he lost control, hit guard rail, rolled, & took our Camaroon before he ended up in the middle of road. Everyone walked away.
Wow...a very dramatic ending for your new car. I'm sorry to see the carnage but so glad your wife was able to walk away. Hope there's another Camaro in the near future for the two of you.
people who drive suv's think they are invincible ...might as well be a minivan..... high center of gravity sucks. Glad your o.k. , And I would look for a real decent dose of diminished value in the claim to your insurance company as a quarter panel is not just a small booboo...... and I would make sure it is perfect if it were mine before I allowed anyone to give it back.... I would look underneath with a flash light and check everything off I think needed replaced or checked and insist on oem factory replacement parts.... and being unibody and all I do not think we have..."quarters" you will be making your car a quartered car.
Most important....glad she is ok. I feel your pain. My Camaro was only 3 months old when it got hit....by an employee in a car wash. Keep us updated on whether it will be fixed or new Camaro for you guys
I'm really glad your wife is ok. I've worked a number of crashes involving Camaro's and found the gen5 passenger compartment holds up pretty good. I hope the Officer or Trooper that worked it, teaches the other driver a lesson, it could have turned out much worse.
Wow, glad your wife was okay, that is just sad. I am so much more aware of other peoples driving than I think I was before, even on my motorcycle. I don't know if I can be responsible for my actions if someone hits me.
Picked our Camaro up last week and it looks GREAT. They had to paint most of the car. We left for Florida as soon as we picked it up. Very nice to travel in.

I will have to check on that. I did not know there was such a thing.
