Envy...my mom YELLING texted me other day..." I better not hear you think you're going to concerts any time soon." Well...I guess she doesn't need to know I'm going to New Orleans in Dec. to see DEAD & COMPANY. Airfare and concert ticket paid for already!!!!

bamaproshop I am glad they are all safe. When i heard this i thought of you and started to worry..I don't understand how someone could harm any one they dont even know. I also don't understand how this person got all those gun and ammo through the casino without being noticed.

gbvinla Thanks for the update. Like JWD, yours was a name I thought of first. Glad your family members made it out without being injured. This is another reminder that evil does exist in this world and that God is our only hope. Good to hear from you again.

Been away for too long...but vegas girl is SAFE

Been away from MC forum for far too long. I am heartbroken about what has occurred in my city. I love Vegas and in 32 years I've lived here have NEVER felt unsafe. Now Vegas has the worst shooting massacre in US history.
I.'ve been crying since the start and can't turn the TV off. BOTH my sons were at the concert with group of friends.Everyone got separated during the chaos. My oldest son, Nick was able to leave the Strip about hour after incident...he called me when he was safely home. Michael...my 29yo son was with his girlfriend(thankful they didn't lose one another) they were on lockdown first at Luxor; then at Excalibur until 5am. This mom didn't sleep the entire night. The best text in the world came over my phone at 518am when his gf Kyle texted...we are safe at home. Michael said they were in front of stage on right side in DIRECT line of fire. His concern was...is there more than 1 shooter; are there bombs/explosives planted in areas? He said he questioned simple decisions for the next 10 minutes hoping he wasn't leading himself and Kyle into more danger.
He still can't believe EVERYONE in their group are safe and unscathed...unbelievable. I said there was a guardian angel looking over them.
Then within 2minutes of each other Michael and I posted on Facebook thanking his best friend Josh who was killed in Sept 2015 in a construction accident. We BOTH know Joshua guided them to safety. Josh's twin brother was one of the friends with them that night. When I read how scared my very intelligent son was and unsure of what to do...I lost it and couldn't stop crying. I am so thankful to have both my sons safe. Sunday, Oct 1st was the longest; most helpless night for this mom.
It makes me beyond sad that some crazy person opened fire on 22,000 innocent people. I thank GOD and Joshua for watching over my kids
