5 paced laps at a local track

5 paced laps at a local track – I need a few unpaced laps as I was already at 91.5 on the start of the straightaway on the final lap – I could have hit 135+ by first turn.

I’m testing a new video/data acquisition system and this was my first test video. It was dusk, so the video is a little grainy. I also learned a few audio lessons from this video: #1 – take my keychain off my key in future videos. #2 don’t leave the window cracked as it causes a lot of noise.

Yea, it was a lot of fun! I just wish I could have opened her up on that last straightaway!

Very Cool....But now something else i want to buy.

Do you need a Laptop, or is it self Contained ?

Also , are the Gauges part of the program, and not a Camera ?

Just looking at options for old school when I get it done.....

I want to get some Three gear Drifts on tape for starters...

Track time is a ways off...Congrats on your Track Time...

They needed to get out of your Way....

It's a self-contained unit and includes numerous gauge options. You need a laptop to edit the video/data feed into the video I created. It synchs the data with the video so you can see the correct speed and rpm. It also gathers a ton of other info, including intake air temp, throttle %, G force data, etc.

I agree. I looked at GoPro, but they are expensive in comparison to their MP. I have a 12MP video camera I could have bought an $8 mount for and had higher quality video. Not to mention 3 emails to their support group went unanswered.

The Race-Keeper solution is more expensive than GoPro, but the amount of data tracked by the unit is amazing. You can also have 4 cameras synched along with all of the date to provide an in-depth analysis of a 1/4 mile run, or a track run.

I'll be posting new videos shortly, my unit is arriving via FedEx today!
