SC F-Body Meet & Greet/ Cruise/ Race day Sat Oct 17

Camaro & Firebird owners and enthusiasts are invited to get together on Saturday October 17th.

Sat Oct 17th 12:00 Meet and Greet at Sonic, 287 Harbison Blvd Columbia, SC 29212 (Mapquest it)
12:45 Cruise around lake Murray via Lexington and Prosperity (Lots of nice places for photo ops along the way) 70 mile cruise
3:00 Cook out- Burgers and Dogs (My place)
5:30 Either say good-by or cruise out to Elgin 1/8 mile Dragway (Midlands)
7:00 Race or spectate
11:00 call it a night

If we get 25 paying admissions, Midlands dragway will let anyone with SCFBA run for FREE- Save $10.

The only drawback to Midlands is that from the end of pavement to the park is .6 mile dirt road.

Come on out for a good time.

Hi!
I'm just down the road in Orangeburg county. I"ll be at Lake Marion Saturday dreaming of the day my Camaro arrives. I ordered it 8/28/09 and build date/week is 10/26/09. Keep us posted of future cruises and maybe after I get mine I can join up for a day of fun.

What'd you order? Do tell. You're still welcome without it.

I am in and out quite often. You can check in to the South Carolina F-Body Association at:

scfbaonline.com

The forum section stays pretty up to date. We'll be looking for you to make the next one.

Bob

I have a 2LT on order. Aqua blue metallic, grey leather, 19" bright wheels, GM performance intake and exhaust, and a real spare tire.

How was the ride Saturday?

Can't wait to see it.

It was cool (temp wise) Sat. we had a nice Meet & Greet, an abreviated cruise and the cook out. We got a call from the Drag strip saying it was raining there so we stayed at my place and watched the game. A great day in all.

I wish you had seen it too. We try to have a big meeting every few month. I'm heading back to sea until february, so unless someone picks up the torch, that probably when the next big get together will be.

We usually let the oldest car go first, we had a first gen show up, but his waife called with an "emergency". We'd also enjoy as 5th gen leading the pack as well.

Check the forum section of SCFBAonline.com for upcoming events. I'll try to post here as well.

68RS/SS,
Where is your home port? Hope you have a safe cruise. I'll keep checking this site and www.scfbaonline.com for future rides.
