hey joes407,

I was wondering if i was going to get a response. good to know a local on this site.

I ordered a 1LT synergy edition, Color got me my wife's permition..

Sunrf, upgrade audio, auto trans, and grd efts pkg....

Ordered on 3-19-10 (1100)

it was just updated on 3-25-10 (3000)

i'm hoping it will arrive before the meet

I also have a 67 rs/ss wht w/blk bumblbee strp,

and a 69 ss blk w/ 2wht strps. will post pics of all 3 after 5th gen arrives.

been a camaro lover all my life, but didn't care at all for the 3rd & 4th gen camaro's...

Thank god Chevrolet brought back a killer body style to the camaro and using the 69 to modernize the style is the best way to do it. I've been waiting so long for the dealers to drop their price markups.. finally i can get one without braking the bank...

Nice camaro's in the driveway.. His and Hers?????

Had a set of his and hers 87 Buick Grand Nationals before the kids came along...

Ask around/ reply to some threads in the regional forum. I saw some FL posts in there.

awesome! i love that color. i saw it in person the other day on a lot somewhere between here and ft myers. have your dealer do a search within 250 miles for a green one with your options and they can do a dealer trade so you can be in it sooner. there will be at least 1 or 2 sitting somewhere with your selected options. honestly i wouldnt get my hopes up on the one you ordered as it probably wont be here in time for camarofest no matter what they say at the dealer. mine was in 3000 status for over 2 weeks and then transit took a few more weeks.

We went through the pain of seaching across fla, and we found 2 with options i liked. Unfortunatly they were either sold or had contracts on them. Besides they were 300miles and 400 miles away, and i wont buy a new car with more than 15 miles on it...There was a total of 12 in the state at the time, and one at courtesy by the airport but they didn't have the 2 main options i needed from the factory...( sunrf and/or auto trans) We bit the bullet and ordered one.. We went through starling chevrolet and worked directly with the sales manager (Kim Hiller) she has been great so far....They said 4-6 wks but I ordered a new truck from orange buick gmc in 2000 and it took a full 12 wks..

but when it comes in, i'm considering changing the strps, grd efts, rims to wht and adding the wht hockey strp on the side..
Basicly taking the SEMA synergy car and changing the blk to wht...
Not yet commited to the change yet, though i think it will come out sweet and be different from the others...

Later man....

When and where is the camaro fest..
