Effective 1 April 2013
The SOUTHWEST FLORIDA CAMARO CLUB has merged with TRI-COUNTY CAMAROS and has become the

Tri-County Camaros is the most elite and most active Camaro Club in the country and we are honored to be asked to become the third chapter in the state!

On 30 March 2013 the SWFL Camaro Club met and approved the merger with Tri-County Camaros. Previously enthusiasts were able to join the SWFL club simply by completing a registration form on the club's website. Unfortunately many that signed up never followed through and became active in the club.

Membership requires commitment of each member. In the future the club may not accept all individuals that indicate they want to be members; so please do not send any money and ask 'where is my shirt?' If you want to become a member of the Southwest Florida Chapter of TRI-COUNTY CAMAROS the only way to achieve that is to come out and become active in club activities and indicate your willingness to follow the tenets followed and enjoyed by the membership. Yes, we are a Camaro club, but to us it is much more than that. We are a group that puts the people and friendships first. The cars are great but let's face it: at the end of the day it is a car. We are not about quantity membership numbers. We are all about quality.

A minimum of at least one monthly meet will be set up for the chapter. The meets may be local or we may travel as a group to various activities to include joining our sister chapters for activities. There is a club membership fee of $60. With that fee you will be provided the following.

1 premium Tri-County polo shirt

1 premium Tri-County T-shirt

1 Tri-County window badge

Access to club only discounts with the many club sponsors we have, including some of the best performance shops in Florida.

The ability to purchase other exclusive Tri-County merchandise only available to club members.

If this is the type of club that interests you and you think you have what it takes to be Tri-County then come to the club's next meet and let's get acquainted. To learn more about the club, or to contact us, go to Tri-County Camaro South West Florida Chapter.

Greetings Southwest Florida Camaro Owners. A couple of your fellow Camaro enthusiasts formed a Camaro club for our region called "the SOUTHWEST FLORIDA CAMARO CLUB." The club was formed to fill a perceived void and is Camaro focused with, as a minimum, monthly meetings.

Active input from all members is the theme at each event, club website and forum and thread discussions.

As club "owners" all members are encouraged to actively plan well-researched cruises, meets, etc.

We recognize there is another club in the area and Camaro enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in one or both clubs.

Information on upcoming events is posted on the club website and in the newest posts to this thread.

Please come out to the events, have a good time and provide suggestions for the club's future

If you would like to be a part of the enthusiasm, please visit the club's website at Tri-County Camaro South West Florida Chapter and click on "Register" and enter your information to join the club (All Information will Be kept strictly confidential). Club apparel is also available on the website as is a terriffic forum for use by club members and anyone else interested in the Camaro community.

When you join the club it would be great if you'd send a favorite picture of your car to [email protected] for inclusion in the site's gallery page.

Send questions, comments, etc., to [email protected].

Let the fun begin!!!

I've been meaning to sign up for days and finally found the time to do so today. I also forwarded a picture of my car and hopefully you include it in the club's website gallery. I'm looking forward to the first meet on the 18th and I will be there!

My hat is off to the person that designed the website. It's obvious a lot of work and time went into that. Thanks!!!

We are making some exciting changes to our August 18th kick-off event.

We felt it was important we acquire support from the manufacturer / dealer of these fabulous Camaros and Estero Bay Chevrolet is interested in our organization and we look forward to a rewarding relationship! Thank you Estero Bay Chevrolet.

The Corvette Club of Naples, involved with Estero Bay Chevrolet as well, is also scheduled to be at Hooters on 18th of August for the “Summer On Ice Concert Tour." It looks like it is going to be a big event. For more information on the Summer On Ice Concert Tour, and the band “One Night Rodeo,” check out the link's Hooters of South Florida.

After speaking with them, the Corvette Club of Naples has asked us to join them at this event. They will have their Vettes on display in a reserved area up front and have invited us to also park our Camaros in the reserved parking area.

It is important that you let us know if you are coming so we can hold a slot for you
. We only have 15 places in the reserved parking area at this time. We may be able to get a few extra if we need them, but we need to know ASAP.

If you will attend please send a confirmation email to [email protected].

Hooters management has asked that all cars be there no later than 5:00PM on Saturday, August 18th. To avoid traffic congestion in the parking area, Hooters has asked us to abide by this.

Let’s kick this off right! Please send the email to [email protected], show up by 5:00PM and let's make this a great event with our host and fellow Chevrolet enthusiasts. But remember, don't show up in the southeast corner of the parking lot behind Hooters as previously planned, but rather enter Hooters' front parking area and you will be directed to a prime parking spot.

If you have any questions please contact us at [email protected] and if you haven't sent pictures of your car to that address yet, please do so now. Also, if you haven't joined the club yet, please go to South West Florida Camaro Club and click on "Contact."

The Corvette Club of Naples has been around since 1977. They are also a great bunch of people with fabulous cars and they are just as enthusiastic about their cars as we are our cars. There is a 100+ car event in the works for November.

Thank you and we'll see you on the 18th!

Tomorrow is the big day!!! Once again, if you are planning to attend the event at Hooters, please be there no later than 5:00PM. If you have already informed us you will be there, a slot will be reserved. If you have not specifically indicated you will attend, please do so ASAP by reply to this post or PM through, if you wish to park with the Camaros and Corvettes.

We apologize as our website and email servers are still down. Long story but we're hoping to have them back very soon.
