First and foremost, I love the SIM! Never get tired of looking at it. Yes, there are other cool colors but I really dig the SIM hands down!
I finally got around to snapping some new pics of the car after the BC Racing coilover install and just recently, the supercharger install. I have the car at 1" lower in front and 1.25"in the rear. I had my alignment set as follows:
CAMBER CASTER TOE-IN
F -1.2 6.0 .12
R -1.0 na .12
I am currently running the coilovers adjustments at 20 for the front and 22 for the rear.
The supercharger was installed and dyno tuned by Haddad Motorsports in SoCal. I am running a 3.6 pulley for 8-8.5psi and with a "safe" tune that I can beat on it everyday with, using the ****ty 91 pump gas we get in Cali, I ended up with 480rwhp and 507ft lbs of torque. It works for me!
And finally a little taste of the exhaust tone at WOT. The sound would have been better had I remembered my camera and not had to use my nephews phone!
Looks great......and sounds great. How do you like the CAI?
It made a huge diff when I installed it (long before the SC) so I am very happy with it. I also firmly believe it was a key component to me being able to make the amount of HP I did on a "safe" tune (8psi) vs another guy running the stock intake and he had to run 10psi to get the same HP!
That or my engine is just one of the "really good ones"!
Yeah, the 507ft lb number shocked me!! Needless to say, one has to relearn one's methods of driving. Especially trying to get away from a stop if the tires are anything less than fully warmed up...
But good god it's a blast. If you save and save and save for ANYTHING, let it be a supercharger! I worked a sh1tload of OT and side jobs to do this and was questioning putting myself thru the anguish at about 3/4 of the way there. But no more!!
