HPI Racing Drift R/C Camaro

Sprint 2 Sport Drift with 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Body

The Drift version of the Sprint 2 Sport gets a refresh as well, with the muscular 2010 Chevrolet Camaro topping the chassis for an all-new look! This is sure to get the sideways crowd in a frenzy, as the modern American muscle car has been making big strides in this traditionally Asian motorsport!

The Sprint 2 Sport kits feature a fully-built chassis, pre-glued tyres, painted bodyshell, fitted electronics and radio, you just need to choose a battery and charger from your model shop.

well that one there will not go that fast. actually its one of the cheaper chassis.

better off buying something you can build and buy the body. i am ordering my body to put on my car.

now as for gas is sooooo much better. sorry to funny. the worlds fastest time was done with electric cause you can take a brushless motor and it will spin freely and as fast as you can get it to go. with gas the piston can only go so fast cause of the crank. for example my car i would put up against any of your gas. thats how confident i am.

on of my cars i lined the two front wheels with actually car wheel weights and it still trys to lift the front up. plus many people who have seen my car run thought it was slow cause it was electric, well sorry i shut them up once i punched it.

you sound like you know a thing or 2 about remote control cars? so this car compared to a gas powered car.... where does it stand? i have driven a gas powered RC car and it was crazy fast. the battery powered cars i used were eehhhhh, not so fast. but if something liek this goes faster than a tyco car or anything bought at toys r us, id buy it. there was no pricing there either. any idea on price?

I had a gas and an electric. My gas one always rattled itself apart even with locktite, also something would break on it all the time. I like my electric better. It lasted me much longer. It still works, but I missed a jump at wot and it hit a wall, so I broke the chassis in half and destroyed the steering box. I put a new chasis on, but still need to replace the steering parts.

Brandon - Roughly how fast did your electric go?

electric using a brush less system will beat a nitro powered car any day but all speeds vary. BUt brush has more torque and much more speed, speeds of 65-80 aren't uncommon.and then use Lipo batterys you get longer run times too out of a smaller battery foot print.
