SLP LDM2 & Blackwing CAI ARRIVED!

Dealership called to let me know that the exhaust and cai just came in today. I'll pick up the cai and install it myself and not waste money having someone do it for me.

However, on Monday I have an appointment at that dealership to install my exhaust.

Installed the CAI myself. Didn't feel like paying someone to do it and save that money for the install of my exhaust on Monday.

The car does feel different - weird even. Not a bad weird. I had my daughter ride with me and she said, "It's louder and a bit faster." I wanted her opinion because she isn't really into cars so I knew her opinion wouldn't be biased.

The install was easy - HOWEVER, the **** tube connecting to the spacer was a pain in the arse.

My overall satisfaction with the CAI mod?

Just got the dealership to reduce cost of installation/labor from 180 to 160 on the exhaust.

Just wanted to show how impressive of a price I got for everything. The guy who helped me out at the dealership had to charge me like 10 dollars above dealership cost to make "profit" and avoid getting in trouble. All I know is that this guy saved me a **** ton of money...

Superior high airflow filter, larger intake tube, traditional SLP OEM look, utilization of stock box, no tune required or codes thrown. Also, SLP is one of few suppliers with one of the lowest defect rates in the business.

What have I gained? Better throttle response, increase in MPG and additional HP/Torque at higher RPMS.
