I had one of these on my last truck. I didn't notice any power gains just a bit better throttle response, nothing to write home about though. I did however love the whistle it made when you got on the gas. I was looking around at articles the other day and found way too many stating that these were a gimmick and that there was no way they could add power since the air that it supposedly spins still has longer to travel before it mixes with the fuel so by the time it is used in combustion any vortex it originally created is long gone. Open to hearing opinions though, but for me it's a no, just not enough proof that it does anything. There are plenty of people claiming that they have proof on the dyno that it added horsepower, yet strangely enough I have yet to see the actual dyno sheets.

From what I read when I was thinking of getting one back when I had a S-10 was that it depends on altitude. I forgot which is which but at some you'll have noticeable gains..but others you'll actually have losses.

save your money and get an actual throttlebody that is showing gains, they are in the process of getting the cnc set up for it. Should be released here soon. Also gets rid of the notorious dead spot! More info at
