Thumbs down No more manifolds, or aftermarket headers, for 2012 V6 camaros...

Head Games: 2012 Chevy Camaro Adds Power, Saves Fuel

the 2012 Camaro 3.6L direct injection V6 engine combines the exhaust manifold with the cylinder head into one single-piece aluminum casting.

Overall, this is probably better than a set of headers since this design has the increased flow and reduced weight. I'm sure you'll see some sort of aftermarket exhaust that bolts to the engine though.

The cool thing is you'll probably be able to havethe exhaust side ported just like the intake and exhaust ports on the heads.

Depending on how this flows, as well as how much you can pick up from a port job, it could be a win.

I have always bought headers for my cars. Will kind of miss this on the new V6.
