Tuning

I have to say it works well!! I know that the HP numbers don't seem like much but the best two things in my opinion were: shift points and shift firmness. Also it's worth it just to get the DTC (Cells) off the computer too. And the intake tuning was good as well. I could also feel a difference in WOT response.

Save your money. Find a local tuner to give you a custom tune, better bang for the buck

Local tuners are NOT doing V6 tunes unless they are Trifecta Authorized tunes. I've checked every performance shop in the DFW area multiple times. And every tuner I have talked with other than the Trifecta Authorized tuner says the Trifecta tune is BS so that isn't exactly a vote of confidence. The Trifecta tune for the V6 runs $275.

Yea that is what I've been told which is why I posted this thread to see if it was something worth looking into. There are quite a bit of performance shops that offer hypertech in Houston. Hopefully someone tries it out and let's us know how everything turned out

I was talking to a V6 Camaro guy at a local show the other night, he's from the other website, but told me as of then there was only one guy in the country that had figured out how to tune the V6, he's some guy in Renton that works for Microsoft.
