put your paddle shift buttons on the shifter

hi everyone, is it me or does the shift buttons on the steering wheel suk, you cant shift while cornering and who actually holds the wheel at 3 and 9 oclock. i found a shifter that has down and upshift buttons on it and the install dont look to hard heres the link

Hi Jim, The shifters are $259.00. I usually have them in stock although right now I am assembleing them and will have some ready in 1-2 days. I am at the shop everyday from about 8:00am-1:00 pm I'm in and out a lot but you can call me at (781) 326-6166 for more info or to take a look at them.

I agree it's tough to shift nintendo style while cornering. I'd be curious how well the actual paddle shifters work on the 2012s. Anyone have any comment on those (And no comments on how ugly the wheel is please.) Been there, done that!

I own a '12.. With time u learn to anticipate the turn and where to place hand for the shift as you turn the wheel.. But I agree, it sucks when I hit these really windy roads out here in the bay area..

as soo as i get up the doh im gonna buy one of the carter units he put one in his car and i think for 259$ it will make me some happy driving

I have had one of georges pistol grip shifters & I Just love it!!! I use my tap shifters 95% of the time and his shifter makes it so much easier!!!

thx denny are you from around boston or did he ship it 2 ya im definite buying 1 just have spent a lot of doh and need some 1st was it easy to install looks like it

mac877......I'm from Michigan.....If you order the pistol grip tap shifter..there are instructions included.....also you can order mostly any color of shifter you want!! Also this helped out a lot~~~~>> George will give you his phone number if you need any help during the install!! I'll be honest with you. I had to call George twice during my install and he helped a lot!! Like I said...for me it is So Much Easier having the "buttons" on the shifter!! I just Love it!!!
Good luck with nyour install when you purchase the tap shifter!!!
