A search on here would tell you YES. We've covered this many many times.
...and yes, a tune can be detected even when reflashed back to factory. We got this from GM.

James 1:25 Ordered from Faulkner Chevy #NKCF02 1100 5/8/9 2000, 3300 7/16/9 TPW 7/20,GOT MY (low) VIN! 4000 7/24/9 ,Picked up 8/7/9!!! Signed Litho #45. Car signed by FBodfather 2011. No worries... ask and some one will shine.

Remember any MOD's can void Warranty for its area.. most people MOD the body/interior while waiting..
Hope that helps ?

Yup, got lots of exterior mods planned. So guess that is where itll all start. But warranty savings > tuning imho.

No need to apologize for starting a thread...EVER. And while this topic has been covered many times...it is because it's the most asked question by new Camaro owners.

And as stated already by Patriot...any tune will void your warranty if there is an issue with your engine that causes the dealership to check you ECM. But if you go in for an AC repair or because the sunroof isn't working properly...the dealership WILL NOT say your warranty is voided and refuse to work on your Camaro.

And it is my understanding that tuning will void powertrain only, which is any engine, transmission, or drive axle types of repair, not necessarily all the other electrical and such. Food for thought..

Some tunes claim they are not dealership or GM detectable (on the LLT). Though if you ask me, once you have a tuned car, and other mods have been done to the engine, basically you are taking a risk by doing so and any damage to them, whether caused by the tune or another defect at that point to the drive train, will no longer be covered under factory warranty. Unfortunately some dealers include intakes and exhaust in this mix. Some of us refuse to let this get in our way of letting us enjoy our Camaro to the fullest. :-)
