Talking K&N Intake systems...Do they void your warranty?

Hi guys. This is my first time posting here and I am glad I am now part of the community.
I juts got my new 2013 Camaro(BRM) and I love every second I spend driving on it. I would like to make some upgrades to it, not too crazy though, but I wanted to make sure I do not void the warranty on it. To start off I wanted to install the K&N intake system and want to know if any of you guys have installed this, what are the benefits of it and if this voids the warranty or not?
I appreciate any comments or inputs you may have on this one.
Thanks a bunch in advance.

I would not be afraid of losing my warranty with a K&N intake. Not one tiny bit.

To bey honest, my is tuned with full bolt ons and I've never been denied warranty work. I've always been upfront with my dealership about all my mods. My car is also 4 years old, and I just recently had some parts replaced under my power train warranty.

But I go to a dealership that treats their customers right. But if my transmission fell out of my car because I was racing at the track, I wouldn't expect GM to pay for it.

no...a cold air intake will not void your warranty.

It won't void anything, but I'm also not a huge fan of that system.

The K&N is cheaper than a lot of the others, but I would recommend the coldairinductions.com CAI kit

And if you do it relocate your washer fluid bottle. If you don't you won't be getting much "cold air".

Yeah, I am going to put a CAI on my V6 IOM as well. I was wondering the same thing as the OP. I actually had my car into the Chevy dealership last week and I asked them about mods like CAI's and exhaust. They said as long as I check with them about what brands I am looking at, they can tell me what will or wont void my warranty.
